The Nashville Area AME Churches held a prayer vigil in support of the shooting victims of Covenant School and their families and the city of Nashville. The vigil was held at Greater Bethel AME Church, Rev. Dr. Byron Moore, Pastor. A hymn of praise was offered by Rev. Cameron Jefferson (Lee Chapel AME Church). After the musical selection, prayers were given by Bishop E. Anne Henning Byfield (Presiding Prelate 13th Episcopal District, State Rep. Rev. Dr. Harold Love (Pastor, Lee Chapel AME Church), Rev. Omaran Lee (Pastor, NewWork Fellowship Church), and Rev. Tanya Mason (Pastor, Bethel Chapel AME Church).
